Commercial peach growers can learn the latest in educational-based information during the 2025 Ridge Peach Meeting Feb. 6 in Edgefield, South Carolina.

EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Updates on crop management and an outlook for the 2025 growing season are on the agenda for the Ridge Peach Meeting, set for Feb. 6.

The meeting will take place at the Old Timber Lodge, 271 Crest Road, Edgefield, South Carolina, 29824. Experts from Clemson University, the University of Georgia and North Carolina State University will present information tailored for commercial peach growers. Breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program begins at 9 a.m.

Licensed South Carolina pesticide applicators can earn 2.5 core credits, and certified crop advisers can earn two CCA credits. The event is free, but seating is limited to the first 80 registrants. The registration deadline is Feb. 4. To register online, visit 2025 Ridge Peach Meeting.

Topics will include weed, disease, insect and cultural management, as well as new varieties from Clemson’s breeding program. Participants will also receive an outlook for the 2025 peach-growing season.
