Office of Global Engagement

The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) is focused on providing global educational and research support through three constituent offices: the Pam Hendrix Center for Education Abroad, International Services and English Language Programs.

Clemson celebrates 200 years of global education in 2026. Founder Thomas Green Clemson journeyed to France in 1826, where he studied abroad at the Paris School of Mines, and in 1831, he earned a diploma as an assayer of mines from the Royal Mint of France.

Today, the University continues to expand the scope and availability of innovative new international programs in service to international students and scholars as well as domestic students and faculty who are interested in building global connections.
