The College Panhellenic Association — the governing council for Clemson University’s 14 sorority chapters comprised of more than 5,000 women — is one of eight universities nationally to receive a 2025-26 award of excellence from the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC).

By receiving the award of excellence, Clemson Panhellenic demonstrated outstanding contributions in all criteria, including innovation awards in academics, belonging, community impact, leadership, recruitment, marketing and operations.

“We are beyond thrilled for Panhellenic to earn such well-deserved recognition,” says Trish Robinson, assistant dean of students and director of Fraternity and Sorority Life. “Panhellenic is a thriving community on our campus, evidenced by another year of record growth with more than 2,000 potential new members starting recruitment last week.”

Clemson Panhellenic operates with core values of scholarship, sisterhood, leadership and service. Panhellenic chapters have been a big reason for Greek Life success inside the classroom in recent years. In Spring 2026, all of Fraternity and Sorority Life combined for a cumulative 3.528 grade point average, an all-time Clemson record. The Panhellenic GPA alone was 3.614, higher than the institutional average for unaffiliated women. Additionally, Greek students combined for over 93,844 hours of community service and raised more than $1.7 million toward philanthropies. Within those totals, Panhellenic helped raise over $137,000 through its annual dance battle, with funds benefiting a local non-profit for young women in under-resourced communities.

Panhellenic also successfully onboarded the school’s 14th active sorority chapter, Alpha Omicron Pi. The organization recruited its first full class of members in 2025-26.
