Editor’s note: This is the latest installment in our series of “Student Affairs Talk” podcasts. In it, Communications Director for Student Affairs Philip Sikes visits with various leaders from the staff and student communities. This week’s featured guest is Logan Young, president-elect of the Clemson student body.

Logan Young is the student body president-elect for 2019-20.

Logan Young was recently elected as president of Clemson’s undergraduate student body. She served the past year in the vice president’s role and is hoping to translate those experiences into the new position. She and vice president-elect Andrew Kwasny will be inaugurated in the WestZone in a ceremony on Thursday, April 11.

Young is a junior nursing major from Greenville, South Carolina and is no stranger to student government. As a senior at Riverside High School, she was president of the South Carolina Association of Student Councils. She was accepted into the University of Alabama and ready to enroll before a change of heart led her to Clemson in April of her senior year.

She’s been very active during her undergraduate experience, not only through CUSG but also with a sorority, club swim team and as a campus tour guide.
