Furlough update; document using Kronos by December 7 deadline

As of December 1, 98.3 percent of faculty and staff required to take furlough time had initiated requests for their furlough leave in Kronos and another 91.4 percent had taken all of their furlough days.

For planning purposes, faculty and staff with furlough contributions still pending must enter their planned furlough leave into the Kronos system by 4:30 p.m., December 7. In the event someone does not enter all their planned furlough leave by 4:30 p.m. on December 7, the time will be entered on their behalf and they must observe that time as furlough leave (meaning they are not permitted to work during that time).

Should an employee’s plans change, they can always reschedule their anticipated furlough time off in Kronos, making sure to take all required days before the end of the year.
