The Fall Career Fair is set to take place from Sept. 21-24 in Littlejohn Coliseum. Students can enter and check in through the Burton Gallery on the southwest corner of the coliseum (facing Perimeter Road). The event will follow a similar setup from previous years and will run from noon to 4 p.m. each day.
This fall’s fair is expected to welcome more than 400 employers, as well as representatives from graduate schools across the country. Companies seeking both full-time employees and interns will be present. While the days of the fair are organized to spotlight specific industries each day, students are encouraged to attend any day, regardless of their major.
The outlined schedule for the week is as follows:

“Employers are coming to campus because they want to hire Clemson students,” said Brittany Neely, associate director of events and employer engagement in the Center for Career and Professional Development.
Neely encourages students to remember that the career fair serves more purposes than simply finding a job or internship. She recommends students use the fair to “explore what’s out there and connect with Clemson alumni before you really need that job.”
Students are encouraged to come dressed in business casual or business professional attire. The Career Closet, now located on the second floor of the Nieri Family Alumni and Visitors Center, is also open during the week and available to students who present an official CUID leading up to the fair. The Career Closet will also set up a small pop-up table at the fair, in case students need items at the last minute.
Leading up to the fair, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of events on campus to prepare to meet prospective employers.
On Sept. 15, an employer from the fair will host a 30-minute virtual workshop to share advice on how students should approach employers and what to expect when attending the career fair. Archived videos are posted on the Center for Career and Professional Development’s YouTube page.
The library is also hosting drop-in resume review sessions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Sept. 16-18. New this semester are mock career fair booths. These will be available on Wednesday and Thursday from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the library as well. This opportunity allows students to practice talking to employers in a low-stakes setting and gain some last-minute tips before the fair.
