The Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) Program at Clemson University, in partnership with Choate Construction, will host the third annual Clemson University Real Estate Summit on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in downtown Greenville.
Building on the strong momentum of previous years, the Summit is expected to welcome approximately 250 real estate practitioners, community leaders, researchers and students. The event continues to strengthen connections between academia and industry while offering a platform to explore current market trends and emerging challenges shaping the real estate landscape.
Held at The Avenue, the Summit will feature an economic forecast presentation followed by a moderated panel discussion with industry experts. The program will focus on key themes, including the state of the national and regional economy, real estate capital and space market conditions and the opportunities and challenges facing real estate development today.
Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. for networking, with the formal program beginning at 4:00 p.m.

This year’s keynote speaker is Spencer Levy, Global Client Strategist and Senior Economic Advisor at CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm. A nationally recognized thought leader, Levy is widely known for his expertise in economic and real estate trends and is frequently featured in major media outlets such as CNBC, Bloomberg and CNN.
Levy also hosts The Weekly Take, one of the most downloaded podcasts in commercial real estate, where he shares insights from conversations with leading investors and industry professionals worldwide. With nearly three decades of experience spanning law, investment banking and research, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the stage.

Continuing a Growing Tradition
The Clemson University Real Estate Summit launched in 2024 and quickly established itself as a premier forum for dialogue between academic and industry leaders. The 2025 summit drew nearly 300 attendees and featured an economic forecast and panel discussion addressing the evolving real estate environment.
As the Summit enters its third year, organizers aim to expand its impact by fostering deeper collaboration and providing timely insights into a rapidly changing market.
