Clemson University Press reissues book chronicling Clemson-Georgia football rivalry

Clemson and the University of Georgia don’t face off on the gridiron as often as they used to, but fans can read about the history of the rivalry in a Clemson University Press book that has been newly reissued.

“Fighting Like Cats and Dogs” by Kyle King details game-by-game accounts of the long-standing rivalry between the Tigers and Bulldogs through 2003, complete with period photographs. The book was originally published in 2013 but has been out of print since 2021.

“’Fighting Like Cats and Dogs’ was always a popular book, but it was a challenge to get it reissued. Thankfully we had a student who was able to re-typeset the book from scratch and another student was able to design a new cover for us,” said Clemson University Press Director Alison Mero. “We’re thrilled we can re-release the book now, so more people can read about this important piece of college sports history.”

“Fighting Like Cats and Dogs” is available for purchase on the Clemson University Press website
