Clemson to host 10th annual Mile of Honor prior to Spring Football Game on April 5

Military-connected student organizations are hosting the 10th annual Mile of Honor at Clemson University on Saturday, April 5 at 8:30 a.m. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and includes a welcome address in the President’s Rotunda before ending at the Scroll of Honor next to Memorial Stadium.

The Student Veterans Association, SALUTE Veterans Honor Society and Pershing Rifles are leading the event, which concludes with the ceremonial planting of 498 miniature American flags in commemoration of Clemson alumni who lost their lives in service to the country.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is available online. The first 200 attendees receive a free Mile of Honor t-shirt. Sizes are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Sandy Edge of Clemson Corps will provide opening remarks.
