Clemson University’s STRIDE program (Stimulating Translation of Research via Intentional Development and Ecosystem) is excited to announce the launch of Translation Tuesday, a Fall semester webinar series designed to help researchers, faculty and innovators translate their work into real-world results.
The series will take place every other Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m., beginning September 9, and will feature engaging presentations followed by open discussions.
Each session brings forward thought leaders who will share practical insights on topics that bridge research and application, from campus culture to business creation and beyond. Registration links, dates and presenter information are below.
September 9 – Research Translation Campus Culture with Associate Vice President for Strategic Alliances Tia Dumas
September 23 – AI for Research and Development, Invention Disclosure, and Related Legal and IP Issues with Doug Kim, an intellectual property patent attorney at Greenville-based Kim, Lahey & Killough Law Firm
October 7 – AI for Research Translation to Business Creation with Joe Gibson, lecturer for the Clemson MBA program
October 21 – Small Business Development Corporation Resources Overview with Director of Clemson Region SBDC at the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business Benny Smith
November 4 – Leadership and Teams with Lisa Taylor, Clemson College of Education Chief of Staff and Operations
November 18 – Accounting/Finance with Craig Lundgren, business development representative at Omnipoint
