Clemson University’s STRIDE program is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Fall 2025 ART Academy, a professional development initiative designed to help researchers translate discoveries into tangible market and societal impact.

The ART Academy (Accelerating Research Translation) equips participants – faculty, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers – with best practices in research translation. The program focuses on collaborative societal impact projects and explores research translation pathways, industry partnerships and support resources.

Participants will engage in seven classes between September 3 and October 15. Each session will last approximately two hours.

Topics covered include:
• Research Lifecycle
• Pathways
• IP and Invention Disclosure
• Industry Partnerships
• Business Formation
• Funding
• Pitch/Demo Day

Participants who complete the program will have the opportunity to apply for STRIDE funding to further their translational research efforts.

Applications for the Fall 2025 cohort must be submitted by July 31, 2025. For more information, contact Craig Kinley at kinley4@clemson.edu or Shelia Cotten at scotten@clemson.edu.
