Clemson students, faculty, and staff across the state of South Carolina can now utilize a new university portal to voluntarily upload proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
De-identified data submitted through the upload tool will be used to assist University administration in health and safety planning for the fall semester. At this time, a vaccine does not change testing, mask or physical distancing requirements. However, as we continue to review those requirements, identifiable data may be used in the future to implement quarantine exceptions, alternate testing schedules, or other strategies.
Last week, the University hosted a Medical University of South Carolina vaccination clinic, which provided over 400 first dose shots. The University is also partnering with Ingles to provide access to vaccine appointments. The University continues to work with public and private medical and pharmacy partners to identify additional opportunities to secure vaccination doses and appointments.
Students, faculty, and staff interested in finding appointments across the state can use the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control vaccine locator and or call DHEC’s Vaccine Information Line at 1-866-365-8110.
