The Clemson University Commission on Women announced a special call for applications for two open staff positions, one alternate staff position, one alternate faculty position and three student positions (one undergraduate, one Master’s, and one Ph.D.).

The purpose of the commission is to improve the quality of life for all women at Clemson and advise the Council for Diversity and Inclusion.

“The Women’s Commission has been working to support women at Clemson for over 50 years and we have important work to do,” said Lori Dickes, chair of the Women’s Commission. “We strongly support the University’s efforts for diversity, equity and inclusion and welcome people of all gender identities to apply.”

New members are appointed by the Women’s Commission. Faculty and staff serve for three-year terms and students serve for a one-year term.

The call for applications closes Tuesday, October 13.
