Clemson’s annual required training program will launch for all faculty and staff on Tuesday, September 29. The annual practice equips faculty and staff with the knowledge and resources needed to foster a safe, ethical and supportive campus community.

This year’s training will cover two essential areas:

  • Conflict of Interest (COI), including disclosures
  • Information Security Awareness (ISA)

These modules reinforce that our people are the first line of defense to protect the University. The training highlights the responsibilities each faculty and staff member holds in safeguarding Clemson’s values, data and community well-being.

Key details for 2026

The 2026 annual required training modules will be launched through Workday Learning on September 29, 2026, with a due date of November 10, 2026.

The COI and ISA modules will again feature shorter versions for those employees who previously completed training. Faculty and staff will be presented with a knowledge check in both modules. If they pass the knowledge check, they will not be required to take the remaining course content.

Both training modules must be completed by Nov. 10, 2026. Failure to do so will result in denied access to Clemson University accounts. While account denial is a last step, employees will receive multiple courtesy reminders before the deadline. Those who miss the deadline will need to contact the CCIT Support Center to restore access after completing the training.

Navigating Workday Learning

This year’s annual required training will be the first courses faculty and staff complete within Workday Learning. Now accessible inside Workday, the courses will look familiar for faculty and staff.

Training resources are available to support faculty and staff in completing this process.
