College Avenue and part of Highway 93 will be closed December 6 for the City of Clemson Christmas Parade. All vehicles on College Avenue must be moved by 4 p.m. or they will be towed.
College Avenue to Keith Street will close at 4:30 p.m. along with access to all side streets, including North Clemson Avenue, Sloan Street and Keith Street.
Northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 93 between Cherry Road and Williamson Road will be closed at 4:45 p.m.
Beginning at 5:50 p.m., College Avenue will close between Keith Street and Edgewood Avenue.
The traffic arm on Calhoun Drive at Brackett Hall will remain lowered until after the parade to deter motorists from traveling toward barricaded areas.
Those parked in the Sikes Hall area will be directed to exit via Parkway Drive onto Cherry Road at the President’s Home.
All barricades will remain in place until the conclusion of the parade around 8 p.m.
The rain date for the parade is Thursday, December 8.
