Applications are now being accepted by the Division of Civil and Individual Rights for the Ross Cathy (’07) ADA Scholarship – Embracing & Valuing Differing Abilities.

The scholarship was created through generous contributions made by Ross Cathy, who earned a degree in Communications Studies from Clemson in 2007 and credits Student Accessibility Services for helping him achieve his academic goals.

This scholarship awards three undergraduate students $ 1,000 annually — $500 for the fall and $500 for the Spring semester.

To apply, individuals must:

  • Successfully register with Clemson University’s Student Accessibility Services office or provide appropriate information to the Division of Civil and Individual Rights, indicating a qualified disability during the academic year of the award.
  • Be a current Clemson University undergraduate student in good standing who has earned a minimum of 12 semester hours with a 3.0 GPA (minimum) or higher.

Download and complete the scholarship application and submit it via email with all supporting documents to priscih@clemson.edu. Applications must be received by May 9, 2026, for consideration.
