Great news for families! The holidays included in this year’s University holiday schedule (above) align with those of several Upstate school districts, including Pickens, Oconee and Greenville County schools.
As a special note, Clemson University’s leadership decided to repurpose the day traditionally allocated as an ‘optional holiday’ to designate Friday, December 27, a University holiday. This way, faculty and staff could enjoy five continuous days of leave during Winter Break.
Please review the holidays and leave webpage for more information on paid and unpaid leave for employees.
Fall break for students will occur in October.
Note: The number of holidays complies with the Department of South Carolina of Human Resources Section 53-5-10.
Dates are subject to change as conditions warrant. Please note some employees may follow the S.C. State and County holiday calendar and can verify their holiday schedule with their supervisor.
