Warmer weather is on the way, and Campus Recreation is excited to offer a number of outdoor events to students on main campus over the last month of the Spring semester. It starts with an opportunity to interact with Clemson Outdoor Recreation and Education (CORE) staff during a free mobile bike clinic from 12-4 p.m. on Monday, April 15 outside of the Shoeboxes. Additionally, F45 Fest (April 18) and the Mindful Triathlon (April 20) promise to connect students with the natural environment while enjoying fitness and wellness activities. More information is below on both events.

Clemson Music Fest is coming to the Upper Intramural Field on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20. Because this is a two-day festival with thousands expected to attend, it does impact Fike Recreation Center and the nearby fields. On April 19, Fike is scheduled to close at 1 p.m. and the fields will be closed all day. Fike and the two intramural fields will be closed on April 20 as well.

Campus Rec invites all members to the second-ever F45 Fest, scheduled for 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 18. F45 Fest is an outdoor workout featuring DJ Supa Man on the sun deck at Fike Recreation Center. The only thing needed is a mat/towel and water bottle. Registration opens 72 hours in advance.

Campus Rec officials are excited to host the first Mindful Triathlon on April 20 at the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Complex. The event begins at 10 a.m. with a mindfulness walk, followed by yoga at 10:45 and guided meditation at 11:30. Interested participants should bring a yoga mat or beach towel. Registration for the event is $20 and is available through the Campus Rec website.

Campus Rec is hiring employees for the summer! Students are needed in aquatics, facility operations, fitness, outdoor recreation and sport programs. Check out position descriptions on the Campus Rec website and apply online.
