The Clemson University STRIDE ART Academy has announced its Spring 2026 cohort. The Academy, part of the NSF STRIDE program, is a professional development initiative designed to help researchers translate discoveries into tangible market and societal impact.

This semester’s cohort features a diverse range of 12 faculty members from five Clemson University colleges:

  • Ehsan Bouteh, Doctoral Student and Graduate Assistant, College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences
  • Apoorvi Chaudhri, Postdoctoral Fellow, College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences
  • Qiping Fan, Assistant Professor,  College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences
  • Vitasta Jain, Postdoctoral Fellow, College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences
  • Bing Li, Associate Professor, College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences
  • Zhen Li, United Mechanical Endowed Associate Professor, College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences
  • Fernanda de Moraes Goulart, Postdoctoral Researcher, College of Engineering, Computing, and Applied Sciences

Over seven weeks throughout February and March, participants will meet for collaborative discussions focused on advancing innovation, research translation, and interdisciplinary impact that cover topics including research lifestyles and pathways, IP and invention disclosure, industry partnerships and more.
