Staff members from Clemson University’s largest college collected canned food for hungry students and honored four of their colleagues when they gathered Dec. 10 in the Madren Conference Center for their holiday party.
For the third year, staff members in the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences used the annual celebration to gather donations for Clemson Paw Pantry.
Awards went to outstanding classified employees for performance, achievements, or accomplishments that are exemplary and that contribute to the success of the college. The most prestigious of the awards is the Hattie B. Wagener Endowed Classified Administrative Staff Award.
This year’s winners were:
Hattie B. Wagener Endowed Classified Administrative Staff Award: Amanda Harris, Holcombe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Technical Award: Michael Justice, Department of Mechanical Engineering
Administrative Awards: Briana Peele, Department of Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences; Monique Williams, Department of Industrial Engineering.
Anand Gramopadhye, the college’s dean, thanked the employees for making the college a vital part of the Clemson experience and a wonderful place to work.
“Collectively, you all make an amazing team,” he said. “Please accept my warmest wishes for a holiday filled with family and friends.”
