The University Professional Internship & Co-Op (UPIC) program is accepting applications from departments and mentors for spring 2021 internship experiences.
The deadline to submit spring internship proposals is Oct. 1. Applications received after the deadline will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Click here for Site Application and Position Description forms.
The UPIC program provides student intern assistance in University offices and mentored professional development for students.
UPIC also is able to provide a 50 percent salary match for a limited number of student positions. However, due to the uncertainty surrounding the 2020-21 budget allocation, UPIC 50/50 salary match approvals for the Spring Semester are based on current budget assumptions. The spring 2021 approval and posting process will be pushed to mid- to late October when budget expectations are more defined.
UPIC’s percent contributions to student salaries might be adjusted if the budget is drastically altered during the 2020 calendar year. The UPIC team expects to proceed with allocation of spring UPIC positions but wants to be transparent with campus partners as conditions evolve.
