Reminder: Expect heavy campus traffic during move-in week

Share:

Students will be moving into campus residence halls this week through Saturday. Extending move-in for the full week and requiring students to make move-in appointments are intended to help reduce traffic flow between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. those days.

Faculty and staff should still anticipate impacts on parking and traffic during move-in, especially on Highway 93.

Employee parking spaces will not be available in Bryan Mall and the Sirrine lot during move-in, and additional traffic should be expected on Fort Hill Street.

The only road disruption due to construction is on McMillan Road, which will be closed between Cherry Road and Dunavan Road for underground utility work. Up-to-date information about current and planned construction is available on the Facilities road construction map.

Pedestrians also should be aware of construction at Daniel Hall. There will be no access through the construction site, but there will be a pathway to the rear of Kinard and Jordan halls.
