Online event to give undergraduate students an edge in publishing research

Clemson University’s Language and International Health Society and Department of Languages are hosting an online event, “Writing for Publication,” on Thursday, April 14th at 4:30 p.m. via Zoom.

The event will be led by Jill D. McLeigh, Director of Policy, Advocacy and Research at the Rees-Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence at Children’s Health in Dallas, Texas. McLeigh’s experience in publishing includes working as the co-editor of both the International Journal on Child Maltreatment and the American Journal of Orthopsychiatry.

McLeigh will present useful and relevant techniques for undergraduate students to increase their likelihood of publishing their work in academic journals. Students interested in participating should register using the form provided here in order to receive the Zoom link.
