There, she transformed a staffing department focused only on staff hires into a consultative talent acquisition environment responsible for hiring all position types, including staff, faculty and students.

“Clemson University is doing exciting things since the launch of its bold new strategic plan,” said Dash-Grimes. “As director of talent acquisition for Clemson, I am excited to play a role in meeting the goals that Clemson has established, and I look forward to working with an award-winning HR team to take what is already great and elevate.”

Dash-Grimes also played a significant role in diversity outreach, allowing for greater diversity, equity and inclusion within candidate pools for all positions.

“The key to successful diversity recruitment is to practice humanity one person and one job at a time,” said Dash-Grimes.

She is also an adjunct professor at Pace University and Montclair State University. She teaches courses in management, leadership, human resources and recruitment and staffing.

Before her time at Pace University, she worked as the director of recruitment at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Prior to that, she held several different recruitment roles for businesses in the retail, quick service retail and hospitality spaces.
