Clemson’s Fall Career Fair will be held in Littlejohn Coliseum from Monday, Sept. 9 through Thursday, Sept. 12 between 12-4 p.m each day. Four-hundred and forty employers will be in attendance, with more than 70% prepared to hire for both internships and full-time positions.

The first two days of the event will target STEM fields–Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Sciences. Government Agencies and Non-Profit representatives will be present on the third day, in addition to Technology, Manufacturing, and Engineering employers. The fourth and final day will be geared toward students seeking work in the Business, Social Sciences, and Humanities industries.

Throughout the week, Clemson’s Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) will be offering helpful services such as Career Fair tours, virtual workshops, and more. One event is particularly noteworthy: on Sunday, Sept. 8, CCPD will be sponsoring a JCPenney Suit-Up event from 5-8 p.m at the Anderson Mall, where students will receive a 50% discount on professional attire and accessories. The event provides a great opportunity for students to acquire career essentials for their wardrobe and maximize their fair experience with employers.

CCPD is the primary coordinator of the Career Fair, and their past success rate cannot be understated. The 2023 fall fair drew a record 5,163 student contacts, an increase of 46% over the 2022 installment. In addition to this high level of preliminary involvement, over 785 combined interviews were conducted on campus during last year’s Fall and Spring Career Fairs.

Check-in for students will be at Burton Gallery on the southeast corner of Littlejohn Coliseum. Coordinated after-fair interviews with prospective employers will be held inside suites Tuesday through Thursday in Memorial Stadium and in Hendrix Student Center on Friday. Learn more by visiting the CCPD website.
