Fall Career Fair goes virtual Sept. 29 through Oct. 1

The Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) has shifted the Fall Career Fair to a virtual format. The fair will take place Sept. 29-30 and Oct. 1 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Students are encouraged to prepare updated résumés and upload them through ClemsonJobLink prior to the fair.

The first two days have been designated for aspiring careers in technology, manufacturing, engineering and sciences. The final day is designated for social sciences, humanities and business.

“The CCPD is thrilled to connect students to excellent career opportunities through our first Virtual Career Fair,” said Lisa Bundrick, assistant director of events and employer relations. “Over 220 employers and hundreds of students have learned how to navigate this experience through mock fairs, demo videos, workshops and one-on-one sessions. Both students and employers are prepared and excited for next week’s virtual fairs!”

Clemson’s career services program has been ranked No. 1 nationally three of the last six years by The Princeton Review and is No. 2 according to the most recent rankings.

“Rankings are based on student feedback, so we know our students are being served well,” said Neil Burton, executive director of CCPD. “Students are leaving Clemson well prepared and highly satisfied, which is a testament to our staff who works tirelessly to ensure each student receives exceptional attention and service.”
