The Faculty Senate adopted a resolution recognizing the “outstanding service of Clemson University staff members during COVID-19.”
The resolution – Faculty Senate Resolution 202102 – acknowledges staff members for extending their roles and for taking on new roles and responsibilities in their efforts to mitigate COVID-19.
It further states, “Our staff have answered these calls and carried out their critical missions to support the health, safety, and welfare of our campus community and to minimize the disruption that COVID-19 has caused to our daily lives… ”
The resolution acknowledges the work of staff in all types of professional capacities, including those who developed a comprehensive testing program safeguarding the health of the University community and telecommuting staff who “creatively worked to ensure minimal interruptions of work.”
