Two Clemson University Emeritus Faculty members have released new books in the past two months, showcasing emeritus scholarship and creativity.

Dr. Holley Ulbrich, Alumni Distinguished Professor Emerita of Economics, draws on her experience as a teacher, policy analyst, and community leader  (especially in the League of Women Voters at the state and local levels) and degrees in economics and theology in her most recent book, “Passionately Moderate: Civic Virtues and Democracy.” The book is available on Amazon


Bear Hugs

Dr. James D. Navratil, Stender Professor Emeritus of Food Science and Human Nutrition has published his new book, “Bear Hugs.” A story about a professor and his graduate student in Antarctica.  This is the latest in his Bear Hug series about his character, Dr. John James Czermak, and his travels and adventures.  The book is available via Xlibris.
