COVID-19 employee leave options following FFCRA expiration

Share:

Signed into law on March 18, 2020, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) included two paid leave provisions related to COVID-19, which eligible Clemson University employees were able to utilize. With the expiration of the FFCRA and its associated leave provisions on December 31, 2020, employees may be wondering what leave options related to COVID-19 are available.

The Office of Human Resources maintains a COVID-19 Resources for Staff and Faculty webpage to connect employees with helpful information based on common HR questions. Along with FAQs on leave options related to COVID-19, the webpage includes resources on topics like telecommuting and COVID-19 testing for new employees.

Access the Office of Human Resources’ COVID-19 Resources for Staff and Faculty webpage to learn more.
