The Clemson Corps will host a communitywide Memorial Day service honoring America’s military dead from all wars on Sunday, May 25 at Clemson University’s Scroll of Honor Memorial.  This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m.

The guest speaker will be U.S. Army veteran Joshua Ayers.

The memorial service will feature the placing of a wreath, a 21-gun salute and the playing of “Taps.”

Limited seating will be provided, so participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

The ceremony is sponsored by the Clemson Corps, a constituency group of the Clemson Alumni Association, Clemson University’s Office of Military Affairs, and the Office of Military & Veteran Engagement.
