The College of Arts and Humanities (CAH) has recognized 12 outstanding faculty and staff members with awards for their contributions to service, research and the No. 1 student experience during the 2025-2026 school year.
The honorees were recognized at the College’s spring meeting on April 30. Two awards — Faculty Member of the Year and Advisor of the Year — were selected by a committee of CAH students and presented at the College’s Honors and Awards Ceremony on April 10. The remaining awards were selected by the CAH Awards Committee.
“I am deeply moved by the commitment, dedication and excellence these awards seek to recognize. Behind each award lies years of toil and sacrifice. In these times, especially, none of that should be taken for granted. What’s more, these outstanding faculty and staff represent an incredibly deep bench of excellence that saturates this wonderful College, which daily transforms the lives of students in ways large and small.”
Dean Nicholas Vazsonyi, College of Arts and Humanities

About the College of Arts and Humanities
Established in 2023, the College of Arts and Humanities (CAH) is centered on exploring and understanding the human condition. It encourages students to engage with culture, history, literature, performance, and the intersections of differing fields of study. Students learn the skills to make a living, while also being confronted with the question of how to make a life. Through expert pedagogy in supportive environments, students are trained to think deeply, write effectively, express their thoughts with confidence and interact respectfully with others. The College of Arts and Humanities is where Clemson students prepare to meet the world.
