Clemson University faculty and staff now have a new, centralized option to purchase computers and other technology for University-use.

The Tiger Tech Shop is now available as a punchout in buyWays, simplifying technology purchases through a single storefront while supporting University security and device‑management needs.

Why use the Tiger Tech Shop?

Pricing

By purchasing through the Tiger Tech Shop, departments benefit from negotiated institutional pricing through a streamlined, internal process.

Reduced lead times and simpler pick-up

Using the Tiger Tech Shop can also help reduce the time it takes to get technology into the hands of faculty and staff. When items are in stock, departments may receive them more quickly, without the added hassle of tracking shipments or coordinating deliveries. Instead, purchasers can pick up their technology directly from the Tiger Tech Shop, located on the first floor of Hendrix Student Center near the ’55 Exchange.

Making a purchase

Clemson users can access the Tiger Tech Shop storefront via the buyWays homepage under “Computer – Hardware/Software.”

While some items will remain available through vendor storefronts like Apple, Lenovo and Dell, the University will transition to the sole use of this Tiger Tech Shop punchout later this summer. If a needed item is not listed, departments can contact their area’s IT Consultant or the Tiger Tech Shop for assistance with special technology needs.

The Tiger Tech Shop connection will remain when the University transitions to Workday later this summer.

For questions about products or purchasing assistance, contact the Tiger Tech Shop from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday by visiting 110 Hendrix Student Center, calling (864) 656-0404 or emailing computerstore@clemson.edu.
