Clemson Home welcomes new and continuing students to main campus residential communities for move-in from Monday, August 14 through Saturday, August 19. Residents will arrive between 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. for scheduled move-in appointments each day.
Heavy traffic is anticipated on main campus throughout the week, especially on Highway 76 and Perimeter Road as residents are routed to the P-8 parking lot to check-in and receive room keys prior to unloading at their assigned residential community.
Main campus parking and traffic impacts are described below. Visit the Clemson Home website for the most up-to-date information during move-in week.
Parking and traffic impacts
- All residents will check in at P-5, P-7, and P-8 lots using the Hwy 76 entrance at the Perimeter Rd intersection.
- Routes will include Perimeter Rd, Walter T. Cox Blvd., Calhoun Dr., Fort Hill St., Newman Rd., Sherman St., McMillan Rd., Cherry Rd., and South Palmetto Blvd.
- The E-4 parking lot and adjacent parallel spaces on Williamson Rd will be utilized for Mickel Hall and Shoeboxes unloading.
- The Calhoun Dr. loop in front of Sirrine Hall will be utilized for Benet Hall unloading.
- Portions of E-37 and E-27 will be utilized for Douthit Hills unloading.
- Bryan Mall parking will be unavailable.
- Employees requiring ADA parking will be able to access spaces during move-in.
