CU Grow, formerly the Staff Development Program, is now accepting applications for its inaugural cohort. Eligible Clemson University staff are invited to apply.
CU Grow will honor the mission of the Staff Development Program while adopting an entirely new approach to cultivate opportunities for staff. The twelve-month program consists of 150 hours of complimentary career development training completed during work time. Training is provided using all teaching approaches – online, group/experiential and lecture-based. The Clemson community benefits from the program’s service component, which has participants working in the community and building their teamwork skill sets.
Interested staff members who apply and meet the following eligibility criteria will be considered for CU Grow:
- Three or more years of service at Clemson University in a full-time (FTE or TLP) position
- A rating of “Successful” or higher on performance evaluations and the written approval of the applicant’s supervisor
- No disciplinary actions within the last 12 months
Each applicant will be asked to express why they are interested in the program and how they believe it will help them achieve their long-term career goals. Graduates of the former Staff Development Program are welcome to apply (assuming they meet the eligibility criteria).
