Students may be set for Spring Break the week of March 18, but that doesn’t mean the activity level is slowing down in the Department of Campus Recreation.
As the semester winds down, be on the lookout for the mobile fitness trailer outside of Fike Recreation Center. This unique, all-in-one piece of equipment provides students with a circuit-style outdoor workout complete with a squat rack, bench press, pull-up bar, medicine balls and more.
Join Campus Rec staff every Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Thursday at 11 a.m. adjacent to the Fike entrance to experience an innovative approach to fitness. Register through Campus Rec’s website to ensure your spot!

Visit University Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Fike
One of Clemson’s hidden gems is a partnership with University Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine (UPTSM). Located on the second floor of Fike Recreation Center, UPTSM offers personalized treatment and complimentary injury assessment to students, faculty, staff and community members. Independently owned and operated, UPTSM accepts most insurance carriers.
“UPTSM is great for individuals who may be injured or otherwise facing barriers to participating in physical activity,” says Kelly Bardusk, director of external relations with Campus Recreation. “If you have an ache or ailment, having them check you out for 10 minutes is a pretty great service that not a lot of people know about.”
