Neil Burton was going to be a journalist. Or so he thought. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in the field from the University of South Carolina, he quickly enrolled in a graduate program at Clemson. The rest, as they say, is history. Now more than 25 years later, Burton has made a name for himself professionally in career services and seen Clemson become an instrumental part of his family.

In this week’s podcast, Burton discusses his initial roles with Financial Aid and Cooperative Education, how he landed in his current position, as well as some of his outside interests, which include morning basketball games with faculty and staff at Fike Recreation Center.
