Editor’s note: This is the latest installment in our series of “Student Affairs Talk” podcasts. In it, Communications Director for Student Affairs Philip Sikes visits with various leaders from the staff and student communities. This week’s featured guest is Abby Martin, a senior from Clemson, South Carolina and director of Tigerama.
—
Abby Martin’s Clemson journey didn’t take her far. As someone who grew up in the shadows of Memorial Stadium, it was only natural she chose to continue her academic career as a Tiger. She followed two older siblings to Clemson and now enjoys showing her younger brother, John — a member of Clemson’s varsity soccer team — around campus.
Martin will be directing the 62nd edition of Tigerama on Friday and is involved in Alpha Delta Pi, Clemson University Guide Association, Student Alumni Council and the Student Advisory Board for Vice President Almeda Jacks. In this week’s podcast, she talks at length about organizing the student-run pep rally, what it was like growing up in Clemson and future plans in the medical field.
