CLEMSON — More than 330 employers and 50 school districts will send representatives to Clemson University’s Littlejohn Coliseum from Tuesday, Feb. 4 through Thursday, Feb. 6 for the Spring Career Fair. Many more recruiters will come to Clemson’s main campus in the days prior to and following the fair to conduct interviews with students aspiring for full-time employment and internships.
The fair runs from noon-4 p.m. each day. The first two afternoons have been designated for aspiring careers in technology, manufacturing, engineering and sciences. The final day is designated for social sciences, humanities, healthcare, business and education.

Students are admitted into the Burton Gallery in the southeast corner of the arena for registration. Burton Gallery also serves as a home to Career Fair sponsors and as a lounge for employers, who are spread throughout the concourse. After-fair interviews will take place inside various suites on the north side of nearby Memorial Stadium.
Lisa Bundrick, who serves as assistant director for events and employer relations for the Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD), said Clemson’s reputation as one of the nation’s top career services programs has resonated with employers.
“Employers know the incredible reputation of Clemson graduates and actively seek out Clemson students to hire,” Bundrick said. “Recruiters come to me often and say that have great employees who are Clemson graduates and they want to hire more!”
Clemson’s career services program was ranked No. 1 nationally for the third time in the last five years in August 2019 by The Princeton Review. The most recent data available showed a total of 6,352 students attended the 2018-19 career and construction industry fairs while attracting a record 903 employers. In all, the Michelin Career Center reported more than 3,700 one-on-one counseling sessions in 2018-19.
Bundrick said the fair is designed for anyone ranging from a first-year student to Ph.D. candidate. Students are encouraged to dress professionally, bring their TigerOne card and plenty of résumés.
“Student attendance has steadily increased over the years, due in part to the support of faculty and staff across campus,” Bundrick said. “They see the fair as a unique opportunity for our students to have face-to-face conversations with so many recruiters all in one place.”
