Applications open for Ross Cathy ADA Scholarship – Embracing and Valuing Differing Abilities

The Office of Access Compliance and Education is now accepting applications through May 9, 2025, for the Ross Cathy ’07 ADA Scholarship – Embracing and Valuing Differing Abilities.

This scholarship was created through generous contributions made by Ross Cathy, who earned a degree in Communications Studies from Clemson in 2007 and credits Student Accessibility Services for helping him achieve his academic goals.

This scholarship awards undergraduate students $1,000 annually — $500 for the fall and $500 spring semester.

To apply, individuals must:

  • Successfully register with Clemson University’s Student Accessibility Services office OR provide appropriate information to the Office of Access, Compliance and Education indicating a qualified disability during the academic year of the award.
  • Be a current Clemson University undergraduate student in good standing who has earned a minimum of 12 semester hours with a 3.0 GPA (minimum) or higher.
