Reminder: Annual Provost Awards deadline approaches

With its application submission deadline of March 19, 2021, the Awards Program will recognize Clemson faculty and staff who hold full-time appointments as active instructional faculty members as of the nomination submission due date. Provost Senior Outstanding Teacher Award
An instructor who has seven or more years of experience in higher education teaching will be recognized as a senior award recipient if deemed by the review panel to have exhibited sustained, meritorious and exceptional teaching along with a demonstrated sharing of these attributes within the academic community outside of Clemson University. Provost Junior Outstanding Teacher Award
An instructor who has less than seven years of experience in higher education teaching will be recognized as a junior award recipient if deemed by the review panel to have exhibited sustained, meritorious and exceptional teaching. The Provost Junior Outstanding Teacher award recipient is not expected to demonstrate these attributes broadly within the academic community outside of Clemson University, and potential nominees can explore the award details and the application form

Provost Outstanding Collaborative Teaching Award

An instructor of any rank will be recognized for exhibiting sustained, meritorious and exceptional teaching and for having demonstrated remarkable success and ingenuity in a collaborative teaching modality which provides students a vital example of the value of leveraging multi-discipline partnerships. Provost Award for Outstanding Inclusive Teaching Practices

An instructor will be recognized for exhibiting sustained, meritorious and exceptional teaching combining remarkable success and talent in effectively leveraging evidence-based teaching practices, instructional technology (including Canvas), cultural relevancy and inclusivity practices, and sound universal design for learning (UDL) or equivalent principles to teach to a broad and diverse profile of learners. Explore the award details and application form.

Provost Award for Outstanding Teaching with Technology
An instructor will be recognized for exhibiting sustained, meritorious and exceptional teaching combined with a demonstrated excellence in utilizing University-supported technologies to design and teach fully online courses and/or hybrid courses. Explore the award details and application form.__________

Additional awards offered through the Office of the Provost have an application deadline of March 12, 2021 and include the following:

Thomas Green Clemson Award for Excellence
Established to recognize faculty and staff whose teaching, research and/or service have been exemplary, the award will be given to individuals who have made sustained and significant contributions to academic life at Clemson. Explore the full details of the award and the award application.
