The Presidential Search Committee met on Tuesday, March 17, continuing its work to identify Clemson University’s 16th president. Led by Committee Chair Cheri Phyfer ’93, M ’99, the search process moves forward with strong momentum and a shared commitment to Clemson’s future.
“Our committee remains grateful for the continued engagement and thoughtful recommendations from across the Clemson community, which have played an important role in shaping this process,” said Phyfer. “We also extend sincere appreciation to Funk Associates for their partnership and expertise. Their guidance has been invaluable, and I am confident that we will select the right leader to guide Clemson into its next chapter.”
In February, the University launched its Presidential Search website, a central hub designed to keep the Clemson Family informed. The site provides access to the presidential search profile and details about the application process, offering stakeholders an opportunity to stay connected and engaged throughout the search.
Also featured is the Presidential Prospectus, which gives prospective candidates a comprehensive, high-level view of Clemson University, highlighting its mission, distinctive strengths and forward momentum.
The application deadline is April 1, and the committee will reconvene again in the coming weeks.
