After a rigorous national search, the Clemson University Provost Search Committee will welcome four candidates for the executive vice president and provost position to the main campus in the next several weeks. As part of their visits, the candidates will participate in on-campus interviews and a Universitywide open forum.
The open forums will be hosted in the main auditorium in the Watt Family Innovation Center. Forums will also be accessible virtually via Zoom. Candidate names and information, including CVs and Zoom links to corresponding forums, will be shared the week of September 1.
Open Forum A: September 8, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Open Forum B: September 10, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Open Forum C: September 15, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Open Forum D: September 18, 1:45 – 2:45 p.m.
All University faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend and submit candidate evaluation forms, which will be made available after the forum.
Clemson University’s next executive vice president and provost will succeed Provost Robert H. (Bob) Jones, who announced earlier this year that he will step down from the role after more than a decade of leadership.
