Clemson University’s Kite Hill Recycling Center reopened Aug. 31 after being closed due to road construction.
Located behind the P-1 parking lot near the University Fire Station off Highway 76 (map), the facility is open from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. A new traffic pattern is in place for those approaching the center.
“The Kite Hill location offers both convenience and an opportunity for faculty, staff, students and the Clemson community as a whole to promote green initiatives,” said Dave VanDeventer, the facility’s manager.
