Jennifer Goree, director of Healthy Campus, is leading a four-week workshop in February and March open to students, faculty and staff on Koru Mindfulness.
Developed at Duke University, Koru is an evidence-based program designed to teach mindfulness and meditation as a way to manage stress and reduce anxiety. The workshop will teach specific skills to help calm and focus individuals’ minds, including breathing exercises, guided imagery, body scan and more.
Classes will take place from 4-5 p.m. on February 20, 27 and March 5, 12 over Zoom. Register to take part in the virtual series.
