Governor Henry McMaster has proclaimed May 5-11 ‘Public Servant Recognition Week’ in recognition of the work done by state employees across South Carolina.

Clemson University employs nearly 6,000 full-time faculty and staff members, with individuals in every county in the state.

In his proclamation, the governor applauded the work of state employees, calling attention to their contributions to the continued growth and prosperity of South Carolina.

Clemson University will recognize employees in May with employee appreciation luncheons across the state. The main campus event will take place on May 15 at The Dish at McAlister Hall, with other events happening in the days and weeks following.

Want to share your appreciation for your coworkers?

Cards will be available at employee appreciation luncheons for faculty and staff to leave notes of appreciation to their coworkers. Notes will be compiled and included in an Our Clemson article following the events.

If you would like to give a digital shout out, complete this form which is a standard part of each OUR Clemson. It will be sent to the OUR Clemson team.
