Going Strong: Sixth Annual Construction Symposium

Interested in an economic update tailored for companies involved in residential and commercial construction in the Carolinas? If so, register for the sixth annual Construction Industry Symposium offered by the Clemson University Nieri Family Department of Construction Science and Management (CSM) — set for October 14, 2021, in Greenville, S.C. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This year, the one-day symposium will offer four sessions and one panel discussion. Featured speakers are U.S. Representative William Timmons of South Carolina’s 4th Congressional District, AGC National Economist Ken Simonson, Clemson University’s Nieri Family Department of Construction Science and Management professors Vivek Sharma and Dhaval Gajjar, along with featured sessions on steel joist and lumber market trends from Vulcraft and event sponsor 84 Lumber. The panel discussion will focus on the Construction Agency Workforce Development Initiative featuring ABC Carolinas, AGC and NAHB.

How to Register

Registration is available online and closes October 10, 2021.

A discounted registration price of $275 per person is available to companies part of the CSM Corporate Partner Program. The cost for non-corporate partners is $300 per person. The cost includes lunch, break refreshments and workshop materials. Hotel parking is free.
