The fourth annual Data Engagement Conference, hosted by the Clemson University Data and Analytics Working Group (DAWG), will take place on April 15-16, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hendrix Student Center McKissick Theatre. This conference is free and open to all Clemson University employees interested in data science.
Keynote speaker Brent Drake, chair of the Association for Institutional Research (AIR), will deliver his address “Data to Drive Student Success and Institutional Health” at noon on April 15. AIR represents a worldwide community of institutional research, institutional effectiveness, and other decision-support professionals who empower higher education professionals to effectively and ethically use data for better decisions through education and professional development, research, and collective action.
Sponsored by CCIT, the event promises engaging presentations tailored to address pertinent challenges and opportunities in data analytics at Clemson University. Attendees can expect a series of sessions delving into best practices, campus partnerships, and the overarching theme of leveraging data effectively to improve operations and advance the University mission.
