Fall 2020 Study Space Locations and Capacities

Share:

The resumption of in-person instruction is set for Monday, Sept. 21. As students adjust to new routines and physical distancing measures that have been put in place throughout campus, the availability of study space is naturally one of the most pressing topics.

Study space capacities have been altered because of the need to reduce density in our venues and the new allotments can be found in our Fall 2020 Study Space Inventory.

In order to access space maintained by Clemson Libraries, students must make a reservation in advance. All bookings default to one hour and can be extended using the dropdown to a maximum of two hours. Students are permitted two hours per day total across all libraries locations. Other spaces (linked above and listed below) can be accessed as available if Cooper Library or its additional venues in Lee Hall or the Education Media Center in Tillman Hall are full. For additional information, view reopening plans and frequently asked questions for Clemson Libraries.

Other important items to note when accessing Cooper Library:

  • You must have received clearance from Redfern Health Center before accessing any campus facility.
  • You are required to wear a face covering inside any campus facility.
  • You should bring a TigerOne ID card or present Mobile ID credentials.
  • You will receive an email confirming a booking and will be provided a check-in code to enter the facility.
  • To enter, show the confirmation email to the security officer.
  • Once you find your seat, scan the provided QR code or enter your check-in code from the email.
  • To check out, scan the QR code again or visit the confirmation email link.
  • Public computers have been removed, so you should bring a laptop.
  • Real-time capacity can be checked on the my.Clemson app or Cooper Library entrance.
