Eleven faculty members across all seven departments in the Clemson University College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences (CBSHS) have been included in Stanford University and Elsevier’s list of the top 2% most-cited scientists worldwide.
Stanford and Elsevier, a global information analytics company, collaborate annually to identify and honor the world’s most-cited researchers across a variety of scientific fields. The list highlights scientists whose research contributions have influenced global research trends and significantly advanced their respective fields. Rankings are based on academic citations and the quality of the peer-reviewed journals where their work is published.
“The College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences is strengthened by the quality of its faculty, whose research fuels innovation, informs policy and practice, and transforms lives statewide and beyond,” said Bryan Miller, CBSHS associate dean for research. “This prestigious recognition is a testament to each researcher’s depth of expertise, and we are immensely proud of their achievements and the lasting significance of their scholarship.”
