Eight faculty members from the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences received awards in a Nov. 18 celebration at the Owen Pavilion on the shores of Lake Hartwell.
The honorees’ family, friends and colleagues came together for the event, the first in-person faculty awards ceremony since 2019.
Award winners were honored for achievements in teaching, research, collaboration and mentoring. The Junior Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching was offered for the first time.
Faculty members who received early-career awards from the National Science Foundation and Department of Energy were also recognized. Learn more about them here.
